This is the whole-home system we install when customers want the best possible water without dealing with salt, drain lines, or electricity at the softener. The Tier1 Salt-Free Conditioner uses Scale-Guard TAC (Template Assisted Crystallization) media to transform hardness minerals into microscopic crystals that flow harmlessly through your plumbing instead of clinging to pipes, water heaters, and fixtures.

No salt to haul. No drain to plumb. No power to run. No wastewater during regeneration — because there is no regeneration.

Paired with the Scale-Guard tank is a 450,000-gallon whole-home carbon filter. It uses acid-washed coconut shell catalytic carbon — a premium upgrade over standard carbon — which is one of the only medias that effectively removes chloramines (the disinfectant California cities are increasingly switching to, and the one standard carbon can't touch).
